is a program update for your current release of StockTrac.
Before installing this update, please do a program backup so in the event
of disk errors you will be able to restore your original programs. This
program update contains a new newprice installation program that will
accommodate the new account codes that will be in the Air Conditioning and
Cooling diskettes you will be receiving from Midas shortly.
Please install this program update before installing your Midas
newprices. Failure to do this will
result in error messages for account codes not found during the extraction
process. If you have already
attempted to install your newprices and encountered these errors, please install
this diskette and begin the Midas Direct Newprice process again from the
beginning. To
install this update, do the following: �
If you have a multi-user system, make sure that all
workstations (except for the one installing the update) are at a \STCKTR50
prompt. Windows workstations must
exit StockTrac,
but can be at their desktop. �
Take the
StockTrac Utilities option from the Master
Menu �
At the StockTrac
Utilities menu, select the first option, Disk/Tape
Utilities. �
At the Disk/Tape
Utilities menu, use your arrow keys, or press the [I] key to select the Install
Program Update option. �
If you have multiple floppy drives, select the
appropriate drive letter. �
When prompted to insert the first disk, just press
[Enter]. If
you have any difficulty installing this update, or if you have any other
