It's Fast
The 5.0 version is written in the language
'C++'. This is the same
language used to develop most of the commercial software
written today. Applications software such as WordPerfect,
Lotus 1-2-3 and operating systems such as Windows NT, Unix
and IBM's OS/2 were written in 'C' because of its speed and
flexibility. After all, Time Is Money.
Stores your indexed data using the industry
standard Btrieve file format system which compresses data to
maximize your internal hard drive storage Depending on your
hardware, StockTrac� can scan over 20,000 parts in less than a
minute. Pretty impressive. Impressive speed benchmarks even
on the older 386 computer systems
